The Government of Benin has initiated a reform of standardized invoices over recent years to enhance the fiscal compliance of businesses and citizens. To better monitor adherence to this fiscal obligation and to encourage consumers to request standardized invoices at the point of sale, the General Directorate of Taxes has developed a mobile application. This tool enables users to scan the QR code on standardized invoices to verify their validity, report issues related to such invoices, and participate in a sweepstakes using a validated invoice. The application offers the following functionalities:

• Verification of a standardized invoice: Allows users to scan the QR code or manually enter the invoice's signature and number to display details and compare them with the invoice received at purchase.
• Participation in the sweepstakes: Enables users to scan the QR code or input the invoice information to enter the DGI's lottery draw.
• Submission of a complaint: Provides a platform for reporting problems related to standardized invoices.
